This is a handy IR pen for Wiimote whiteboard. It has an on/off push button switch integrated to the pen design. The IR light stays on only when the button is pressed down.
On the tip of the IR pen, a TSAL6400 IR LED is installed to provide the best tracking results with a Wii remote. Each individual pen is tested before packing. A card board paper divider is used to break the circuit of the battery so that the battery wouldn't "leak" its electricity when the push button is pressed during storage, shipping and handling.
A Wiimote whiteboard IR pen acts like a mouse pointer. When the user, press the button on the pen, the LED light is turned on, even though human eyes can not see it. When the LED light is turned on, the computer consider it as a mouse-click (left mouse button click). If the user continue pressing the button and the light stays on, the computer will then consider it as dragging. These are the two actions of a Wiimote IR pen.
